In the valley of the river Tuapse rises the picturesque mountain Neveb. From its top one can see a magnificent panorama of the northwestern spurs of the Great Caucasus that holds in its bosom many rich and mysterious resources left from the earth's geological past. As the time goes by, the resources become the property of the science, and the subsoil becomes an indispensable raw material for the creative labor of the builders.

In the seventies of the last century on the slopes of the mountain Neveb Krivenkovskoe limestone deposit began its development. The reserves of the field were discovered back in 1954 - 1962 years, and its industrial development began in 1973 by the Krivenkovskoe gravel plant of the Ministry of Railways of the USSR. This large production provided North-Caucasian railway with traveling gravel back in those years - up to 65%; with the crushed stone for bank protection works - 100%. The commodity of Krivenkovskoe deposits has built and successfully operated till the present time such strategic objects as the railway Krasnodar - Tuapse, the second way of the railway line Tuapse - Adler. Since 2002, the mining operations at the mine Krivenkovskoe successfully leads LLC "Surgutzhilstroy" mastering the northern part of the quarry, which has significant reserves - about 7 million cubic meters. of raw materials. Production volumes allow to provide most of the needs of the largest sites of the South of Russia, including the industrial and civil constructions as well as for the sea and river hydro construction. In 2013, the company successfully conducted technical upgrading. High-tech mining and processing equipment from leading world companies such as: Caterpillar, Hyundai, McCloskey, Powerscreen, Kleemann, were obtained by the facility. Coast strengthening– is one of the main directions of modern construction. Resort and recreational facilities located on the Azov-Black Sea coast, are built, usually in coastal areas - where water is a daily assault on the land. Also, in recent years increasingly common phenomenon of destructive (accelerated) erosion of soils occurring under the influence of human activities. Avalanche or landslide processes that occur as a result of undermining the groundwater, shoreline change, reducing the usable area - these are the challenges that we face on a daily basis. In this regard, the strengthening of the shoreline of rivers and reservoirs, is of great importance today. The strength of future facilities, and their appearance will depend on what kind of materials and structures are used in bank protection works. Tuapse quarry offers a range of bank materials. As ,for example, crashed stone fractions 150-300mm, 300-500mm; oversized stone the size of an edge of at least 500 mm; particularly large stone which weighs from 1.5 to 5.0 tonnes (as agreed with the customer, stone which weighs more than 5.0 tonnes can be shipped); stone bank protection; gabion stone. These natural materials make it possible to build a strong bank protection construction, which will not disrupt the ecology of a reservoir, reducing the hydrostatic effect on the ground. It is important that these materials will have a beautiful appearance, they will not violate the ecology of the reservoir and will not hinder the growth of vegetation. The fact that natural stones of Krivenkovskoe deposits contribute to the formation of underwater flora and fauna, as their excellent water permeability and the ability to collect a soil and silt particles supports the development of vegetation. This, in turn, enhances the strength of the buildings: as years go by and the grass and small shrubs grow through the design, it does not destroy the constuctions, but on the contrary - strengthen and make them less noticeable. In some cases, in the absence of flow, it is possible to strengthen the coastal slopes with geogrid volume filled with gravel of solid rocks. This crashed stone no less effectively prevents soil subsidence and serves to reinforce slopes. Geogrid is a structure made of polymeric tapes average thickness of 1.5 mm, held together in a staggered welds. When tensed in the working plane it forms a stable frame filled with crashed stone or ,in the upper part of the slope, with topsoil, followed by planting herbs. On Tuapse quarry high quality crushed stone is produced: fractions 0-10mm; 10-40mm, 20-40mm, 40-70mm, 70-120mm (according to GOST 8267-93 from the very hard limestone rocks). The average strength of gravel 800 kg / cm2, stone - 1000 kg / cm2. Produced crashed stone is also ideal for the construction of major facilities in seismically dangerous zones, used as ballast railway track, filling concrete for reinforced concrete pressure pipes, critical structures of buildings and bridge structures. Limestone mined by LLC “Surgutzhilstroy" on all of their physical and mechanical characteristics, in terms of the requirements relevant by GOST and TU are very durable, with high resistance to frost, raw materials. In 2013, the company has successfully carried out modernization and technical re-equipment. Permission for use of advanced, high-tech mining and processing equipment of leading world companies such as: Caterpillar, Hyundai, McCloskey, Powerscreen. Modernization has allowed the company to significantly increase production, to expand the range and quality performance of the products. Today, shipping and accounting of finished products at the plant around the clock and seven days a week, and its delivery to the objects made both by customers themselves and by a carrier.
