Mountain Web is located on the south-western outskirts of Krivenkovckaya village Tuapse district of the Krasnodar Territory. Composed of rocks of two of the most interesting geological periods - Jurassic and Cretaceous. As a result of the special geological conditions prevailing in deep water about 140 million years ago in the black clays (shales) formed bizarre concretions of pyrite. Pyrite in these layers grew on all foreign bodies caught in the clay, in the pebbles and boulders on ammonite shell fragments, fragments of fossilized wood Stalks. In more recent geologic time when the sediments have turned into solid rock, as a result of tectonic processes that accompany the formation of the structure of the Greater Caucasus over the water t a mountain Neveb formed. In the process of uplifting rock layers to crack and burst, they formed joint systems, in which later rushed the ground water, washing out of limestone calcium carbonate in places with small lots of cracks and forming it as huge crystals on the walls of the larger cracks and caverns ( caves). In addition, it is worth noting that among the strata of argillite are often seen mineralogical formations, called septariy containing inside quirky geodes, crystals made of aragonite and sometimes celestite and barite.
